KRA unveils an e-customs app to ease delays at Busia border post

The Kenya Revenue Authority in collaboration with the British High Commission and TradeMark Africa has unveiled an E-customs mobile application in an elaborate effort to modernize operations at the Busia One Stop Border Post. As Wycliffe Oketch reports from Busia, the digital rollout is expected to ease delays at the busy border post by reducing turnaround time from at 40 minutes to less than a minute thereby sparing traders time and cost.
